Research

My research interests include empirical qualitative studies as well as theoretical work in the areas of gender & sexuality, specializing on the fields of BDSM, transgender studies, (non-monogamous) relationships and intimacy and gender/queer science studies, for instance epistemology. Due to my background of studying philosophy, chemistry, educational sciences and sociology, I have always worked from interdisciplinary perspectives. Because of my activist background, I seek to produce knowledge in a politically and ethically responsible manner, which implies to employ an intersectionality analysis.
